General

Introduction

This guide is for all users of the applications. It will cover general information applicable to everyone like requesting an account, resetting password, and logging in, etc.

Requesting an Account

Go to https://cppp.hs.uab.edu/auth/register
Fill out the form

Your username should be your email address
Your password should be at least 8 characters, have an uppercase and lowercase letter and a number. Then confirm your password

Click
After your registration has been validated, you will receive an email stating that your account is activated and ready to use. This may take some time.

Resetting your Password

Go to https://cppp.hs.uab.edu/password/email
Enter your email address that is your username.

Check your email inbox for an email detailing the rest of the process
Click on the link in the email to change your password
Fill out the form

For your email address, reenter the email address associated with your account.
Your password should be at least 8 characters, have an uppercase and lowercase letter and a number. Then confirm your password

Logging In

Go to https://cppp.hs.uab.edu/auth/login
Input your username and passowrd
Click

Logging Out

Open the menu at the top right that is labeled with your name
Click "Sign Out"

Reporting an Issue

At the bottom right of a page, click

This should open up an email draft in your computer's default email application.

Fill out the email, most importantly describing the issue you are experiencing.
Send the email

Sending a Message

Go to https://cppp.hs.uab.edu/messages/create or click the "My Messages" link under the "Settings" menu.
Fill out the form

Select the person you want to send the message to by selecting their site first, then you can either select the contact directly (everyone at that site) or select the site group first to reduce the list of contacts to pick from and then select the contact.
You can only send messages regarding an "Asset", a "Package" or a "Transaction". If you click the dropdown, you can pick from all choices, or you can start typing part of what you are looking for and the application will reduce the number of options to match what you are typing. See image below:
